We collect the information by you personally providing it to us when it’s through our Genius system. We collect the information by you using and navigating our website via cookies. You can disable those if you choose to do so.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

• To provide access to our online system and generate Workplace Adjustments Reports or Fitness to Work Certificates.     

• To communicate with Advisors, Employers, and their employees regarding system-related matters.

• To inform Advisors about changes in pricing or system updates.

• To improve our services and develop new features based on usage patterns.

• To market our services to Advisors and Employers, as well as potential customers.

We do not market to employees or job seekers via information provided through the use of “Genius”.  

Anonymised information will be collected for the purposes of producing statistical data and reporting on health conditions or impacts across different job roles and industries.

Lawful bases

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing your information are:

• Your Consent – you can withdraw your consent at any time by contact [email protected]

• Where we have a Contractual Obligation, such as where we are required to use the data provided to generate an Occupational Health report, or where we need to communicate with an advisor or employer. An employees’ personal data submitted into the Genius system via health questions and answers will not be shared with anyone other than Occupational Health professional advisors where required.

• Where we have a Legal Obligation to do so.

• Where we have a Legitimate Interest, for example for the purposes of marketing services that we believe would be of interest to you. We will never market to employee users of ‘Genius’.

Data Security

We take data security seriously and employ industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. We store your data securely and limit access to authorised personnel only. Please refer to our data retention document for details of when and how your information will be disposed.
